a little 3d action? My design is the Poe's Tavern logo. Meena did a tree. The tree looks much nicer than Poe's face at night.

Liz and Josh did their "R" and Peter did a the traditional face. The party was quite successful even if only a few peeps brought pumpkins.

cardinals for donation

Since the start of August I've been playing around with Cardinals - the VA state bird

and this is a piece I did about 4 times before I was slightly happy with it. I donated it to the MSVF gala to be auctioned off. Simple and influenced by Wayne Thiebaud.

i've started a new series of songwriter postcards

that will include only lyrics on the back and they'll be mailed out to 

people I love.

Hollywood Cemetery

went there to sketch but I ended up creating some interesting sentences from different gravestones. Could there be some thesis ideas here? eh? This is my new personal obsession. Writings from the grave. harhar. It was a beautiful and relaxing afternoon. I'll be frequenting the Cemetery often. It isn't a creepy place it's more park like than anything.
